| Large spacious rooms all the business facilities necessary,
the unique atmosphere and panoramic views across the racecourse to the
Blackdown Hills combine to make Taunton Racecourse the perfect location for
successful business events. Both stands at Taunton Racecourse provide the ideal setting for exhibitions, conferences and seminars. It is beautifully situated in the heart of the west Somerset countryside, with the outstanding views across the racecourse to the wooded slopes of the Blackdown Hills beyond and yet only two miles from the M5 (junction 25). The county town of Taunton is within five minutes drive and there is ample free car parking for 500 cars adjacent to the stands with additional car parks close by. Taunton Racecourse is well sign posted from both the M5 and the town centre. There are two fully self sufficient stands which are able to accommodate seminars these are called The Orchard Stand and the Paddock Stand. Both buildings have an array of differing rooms available seating any number of delegates from 15 to 350. Most rooms have blackout facilities to allow use of the video or projecting presentations. There is a excellent, highly professional catering service as well as fully licensed bars. The delegate rate is very competitively priced at £21.00 + VAT per person to include coffee on arrival, mid morning coffee and biscuits, lunch (2-course seated lunch, fork buffet or finger buffet ), afternoon tea and biscuits, all the room hire including syndicate break out rooms and equipment such as flip chats and OHP’s.
