Drinks On Arrival

Most receptions begin with an aperitif of sherry, fruit punch or champagne. Non alcoholic alternatives should be included for children or those who are driving.

Wine With Meal

Our house wine is a very popular Spanish wine called Castillo De Montblanc, white and red. However we do have an extensive wine list if you would prefer a different wine at a small extra charge.

Champagne Toast

Glasses of Opera Blanc De Balnc Brut are served by the glass before the speeches

Whichever way you choose to organise the wine, you will only be charged on the amount you actually use.

  1. Toasts and Speeches

These would normally take place at the end of the meal and would accompany the cutting and distribution of the wedding cake.

This is usual order of proceedings:

  • Bride and Groom cut the cake

  • Toast to "The Bride and Bridegroom". This is normally proposed by the Bride’s father or a close relative or friend of the family

  • Toast to "The Bridesmaids". This is always proposed by the Bridegroom following his response to the first Toast

  • The Best Man then responds to the Bridegroom’s speech on behalf of the Bridesmaids. He also reads the telegrams to the guests.

These points are guidelines to ensure the day goes smoothly. We would be happy to discuss any ideas or individual preferences you may have.
